NEWSLETTER AUTUMN 2009
This year's Summer Fair was a great success. Thanks for all the donations received from everyone - they were greatly appreciated.
We raised £840 on the day with the help of volunteers, staff and parents/carers who helped on the fair day.
Thanks to everyone for all your help and support.

Autumn Break is for one week, closing on the 26th October and re-opening on the 2nd of November.

We have arranged in-store collection days to help raise money for the Centre. We are at:
Morrison's in West Kirby on Thursday 17th September
Asda in Liscard on Thursday 12th November.
Tesco Direct in Bromborough on the 15th December.

Nikki has taken over the position of Deputy Nursery Supervisor while Natalie is on maternity leave.

Please do not bring your child to the Centre if they are at all not well. This includes: chesty, runny nose, diarhoea, coughs, vomiting and sneezes etc. due to other susceptible children. Unwell children will be sent home.
Fund Raising
Can you help? Any donations of money, goods, or any ideas for us to raise money for the Centre.
Christmas Break
Christmas Break is for 3 weeks from 14th December & re-opens on the 4th January 2010.
Christmas Fair
Our Christmas Fair this tear is going to be on 16th December. Can you donate Christmas items for the event? Any donations will be appreciated.
NEWSLETTER SUMMER 2009
Well SUMMER has finally arrived and we are gearing up hopefully for some HOT weather! School is just about out and we too are set to close on Friday 7th August until Tuesday 1st September 2009.

We are having our SUMMER FAIR on Tuesday 11th August from 12-2pm. Bring your family and friends and of course, all the children!!

This Year's Annual trip was to FARMER TED's. It was well attended and enjoyed by ALL! Feedback received, was that Green Acres was just a bit bigger and had a little more to offer.

We need items for the Summer Fair, especially BOTTLES for the Bottle Stall, CAKES for the Cake Stall, BOOKS for the Book Stall and various prizes for the Tombola.
*
We will be holding an AUCTION over the next few weeks, for the ROCKING HORSE and a raffle for 2 tickets to see Tranmere Rovers match against Gillingham on 15th August 2009.

Fee's were dus for renewal from 1st April 2009. If you haven't yet paid this then please speak to Lynn/Lana. Fee's are £1 per week/£4 per month.

EASTER DATES FOR THE CENTRE
We close on April 6th to April 18th. We open again on April 20th.This closure is to cover cleaning and staff holidays.
MINI-BUS
We have introduced a fee for the mini-bus as the running costs of the bus each month is extremely high. The cost is £3 per week and all parent/carers who utilise the mini bus will be required to pay this.
FEE’S FOR APRIL 2008 TO MARCH 2009
These fee's must be paid by March 31st. If you feel you are not going to be able to pay these then please speak to Lynn who will try and sort a payment plan for you.
New fee's for the next financial year start on April 1st. The fee's are to stay the same of £52 per year.
ILLNESSES
If your child is ill, please do not attend the centre. This does include coughs and colds and runny noses.
These types of illnesses do cause concern for all babies and children.
The staff at the centre are willing to advise if you are unsure if your child has any symptoms. Please phone before you attend.
WIRRAL COASTAL WALK
The centre is to participate in the Wirral
Coastal Walk on Sunday 17th May. If you would like to help raise money for
the centre with us, please speak to a member of staff who will put you in
touch with Chrissie Woodland (parent rep) who is organising the event on
behalf of the centre.

OFSTED INSPECTION - MONDAY 20TH OCTOBER
As you can see we were inspected on Monday pm. The Inspection went really well and we have met all criteria for the Registration.
We were also told that we have a Centre, which would be classed as “OUTSTANDING”
The Staff and the Committee would like to
thank all parents / Carers for their continued support.
CHRISTMAS DATES
The Neo-Natal party for all three groups will be on Friday 12th December 1pm – 3pm. All other groups party will be on Tuesday 16th December 1pm-3pm.
Sessions will end on Wednesday 10th December and commence again on MONDAY 5TH JAN 2009.
FEES.
Fees are on-going. Please can all parents / carers who need to, pay their fees up to date.
If you are unsure of how much you owe please speak to any of the Admin staff who will be able to provide you with a break down of how much you have paid and how much is still out standing.

Dear Parents/Carers
As you are probably already aware the subscription fee for accessing the Centre has been set at an Annual amount of £12.00, which breaks down into £1 a month.
The Committee and members of staff have recently reviewed the costs for the Centre and there is a definite need to increase the fees paid.
The New Subscription from April 2008 will be £4.00 per month. This equates to £1 per week.
This amount can be paid on either a weekly or a monthly basis. We do not charge for more than one child attending the Centre.
I am sure you will agree that the up-keep and running of the Centre is paramount and therefore can appreciate the increase.
If you have any questions at all regarding the new fees please feel free to speak to either myself or Lana.
